Global law firm Allen & Overy has recruited a three-strong securities team f rom US firm Skadden.  Partner Mark Leeman, counsel Cecile Baume and associate Matthew Lim will join A&O.  US securities lawyer Mr Leemen specialises in cross-border equity and debt capital markets financings and has worked for clients such as Westpac bank, toll road company Transurban, shopping centre owner Scentre Group as well as the Commonwealth Department of Finance. The team has advised on six out of the 10 largest IPOs in Australia and New Zealand in the past three years. The lawyers will join A&O’s Sydney office.
