Andersen Global expands legal services eastwards

Firm expands in India and Africa, which in a period of just over two years seen expansion into 18 countries in Africa.

Andersen Global is continuing to expand its footprint eastwards, announcing the addition of a new member firm in India, Nangia Andersen LLP and two more in Africa.

India collaboration

Andersen Global debuted in India over a year ago when Nangia Advisors LLP (now Nangia Andersen LLP) signed a collaborating agreement with the international association. The firm, one of the largest in India, has 350-plus professionals in numerous office locations throughout the country, including Noida, New Delhi, Mumbai, Gurugram, Bengaluru, Pune, Chennai and Dehradun. For nearly 38 years, the firm has provided services to multinational companies with India interests in entry strategy, re-organizations and across a broad range of sectors. “Andersen Global and Nangia Andersen LLP match in terms of values and commitment to transparency, high ethical standards, technical accuracy and quality service to clients. We found immediate synergy with the professionals at Andersen Global,” said Rakesh Nangia, chairman of the new member firm.

Africa expansion

In Africa, Andersen Global has announced two new deals. The firm has entered Cameroon, making it the firm’s 18th Country in Africa, signing a collaboration agreement with Muluh & Partners, a law firm based in Douala, Cameroon. Founded in 2012, Muluh & Partners is a full-service law firm with five partners. The firm’s professionals provide legal and tax advice to clients in a range of practice areas. Jude Muluh, office managing director for Muluh & Partners. “Collaborating with Andersen Global will only strengthen the quality of services that we provide and we look forward to working with the member and collaborating firms of Andersen Global.” In an earlier deal, Andersen Global entered Namibia signing a collaboration agreement with one of Namibia’s largest law firms, Dr Weder, Kauta & Hoveka Inc. With deep roots practicing law in Namibia for more than 70 years, Dr Weder, Kauta & Hoveka Inc has over 100 legal professionals and 19 Partners across Namibia with offices in Windhoek, Ongwediva, Swakopmund and Grootfontein.
