Bentham Europe is representing shareholders over Tesco's admission that it overstated its half year profits by £263 million. It is planning to expand operations and is targeting cases worth over £30 million. Spokesman Simon Dluzniak told The Guardian that  the company aims to have six to eight cases under management in the UK by the end of the year. He said the company had  fought 160 cases and lost five cases, mainly in Australia.‘The largest loss was about A$8m-10m. It’s a big, risky game. Our largest return was Centro class action, against a property firm.’ The final award was for A$200m. Bentham recovered its outlay of A$18m plus winnings of A$42m. Source: The Guardian
