Baker Botts has picked up four corporate partners from Vinson & Elkins. Three of the lawyers will be based in the firm’s New York office and one in its Washington DC location. 'These are exceptional lawyers, and their arrival bolsters our existing teams of New York and Washington based corporate lawyers in our private equity, capital markets and M&A practices,' said Andrew Baker, managing partner of Baker Botts. 'This is the second major addition to our corporate group in the past year. Last year, we added nine new corporate partners. Over the last 12 months, we have added 20 new lateral partners to the firm.'
