Bingham McCutchen LLP has expanded its services in China, bringing in Fred Chang, who will join as a partner in Beijing

Mr Chang, a former co-founding partner of the PRC firm of FenXun Partners, advises global financial institutions and multinationals on investments and acquisitions in China and related regulatory and compliance matters.

Bingham's Beijing office is strategically positioned to serve both multinationals investing in China, and Chinese companies expanding abroad. The firm is also offering clients government relations and crisis management expertise and strategic guidance on the public policy aspects of trade and investment as well as complex, regulatory and enforcement matters.
