Mr Rogers is to lead the London-based emerging markets corporate team of the international firm. Brown Rudnick describes itself as having '200 high-octane lawyers in key financial centres'. Mr Rogers has developed particular expertise in French-speaking Africa, Russia and Mongolia. Joe Ryan, Brown Rudnick's chair and chief executive, said of Mr Rogers: 'His experience working across European, Middle Eastern and African jurisdictions fits well with the strategic focus of our existing international disputes team, offering strong synergies with our Paris and London teams, which continue to be core areas of growth for us.'

Meanwhile, as previously reported in The Global Legal Post, the Paris office has taken on Didier Bruere-Dawson from De Gaulle Fleurance & Associes and David Malamed from August & Debouzy.
