Dan Fitz, general counsel at BT Group, will step down in April but will continue as company secretary remaining on the executive committee. He will be replaced by Sabine Chalmers who joins from brewing company Anheuser-Busch InBev. Ms Chalmers joined InBev in 2005 as chief legal officer from drinks rival Diageo and was involved in Interbrew and AmBev’s merger to form the world’s largest brewer. She also serves as a non-executive director at beauty company Coty and on the board of the UK’s Royal National Theatre.

Forefront of management
