A Clifford Chance trainee has taken to the airwaves

Outlets around the world have been adding stories about the 21-minute YouTube video in which London Clifford Chance trainee Aysh Chaudhry refers to the Paris terrorist atrocity this month and says: 'We would not be here had it not been for the fact that the kuffar [a term for non-Muslims] had gone to our lands and killed our people and raped and pillaged our resources.' Roll on Friday said: 'Aysh Chaudhry spends his working day churning documents in CC's M&A dept and, it seems, his free time recording inflamatory videos.'

Rap version

Other YouTube account-holders have also started making copies of part of Mr Chaudhry's talk. These include a rap version. The media is also focusing on the response of Clifford Chance which has been refusing to discuss the fate of the trainee, Roll on Friday said.
