Chinese investigators visit Microsoft

A visit to Microsoft’s Chinese offices by regulators has sparked fears in the US that the company could be the latest Western company to be targeted by the Chinese government.The officials were from China’s State Administration for Industry & Commerce (SAIC), which oversees market supervision and regulation as well as heading up bribery and corruption investigations and intellectual property rights abuse cases. They visited Microsoft offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Chengdu. Source: Chicago Tribune
