Clyde & Co boosts TMT practice with key partner hire in the UAE

Clyde & Co has appointed Dino Wilkinson, who joins from Norton Rose Fulbright, as partner in its Technology, Media & Telecom practice in Abu Dhabi.

At Norton Rose Fulbright, Mr Wilkinson was a commercial lawyer specialising in the TMT sector advising on technology law and contracts, outsourcing,procurement, data protection and cyber risk issues. While he has been based in Abu Dhabi since 2010, he has been advising clients in the Middle East for more than ten years, building a substantial technology and commercial practice in the UAE.

'New wave of IP'

Joycia Young, partner at Clyde & Co’s office in Dubai, said: ‘There is a new wave of IP, technology and media work in the region, from government initiatives focusing on internal efficiencies to increasing awareness of data and cyber risk from both public and private sector clients. Dino will provide the necessary expertise and commitment to capitalise on these growth areas and will allow our broader IP and commercial practice to expand locally and across the GCC.’
