Contract review start-up raises $2.4 million

A legaltech company specialising in contract reviewing has received financial backing to expand and develop.

A company which makes legal software for reviewing contracts, has raised $2.4 million in funding. Heretik, which included Reed Smith amongst its clients, received the funding to develop sales, marketing and product development. It uses algorithms to help law firms review contracts more efficiently. Corazon Capital led the funding which includes Relativity, the software platform which it is built on. The company has seven customers, 10 staff and is less than a year old.
