DAC Beachcroft hires four-partner team from insurance rival Clyde & Co

A team of four personal injury partners are moving from Clyde & Co to DAC Beachcroft in London.

Partners David Knapp, John Goodman, Nigel Adams and Danielle Singer will be joining DAC Beachcroft from Clyde & Co with a support team of around 30 associates. The partners are specialists in catastrophic and complex injury claims and high-volume insurance work.

Mr Knapp specialises in defence of personal injury claims and brings key client Zurich, the largest employers’ liability insurer in the United Kingdom, to DAC Beachcroft. Ms Singer works on catastrophic and complex injury claims on behalf of insurers, with particular expertise in cases involving brain injury, spinal injury and amputations, as well as substantial group claims. Meanwhile, Mr Goodman has been with Clyde & Co for over 25 years after joining the firm as a trainee in 1990. His practice is focused on general insurance work as well as inquests, defamation, health and safety prosecutions and judicial review cases on behalf of local authorities. Finally, Mr Adams is leaving Clyde & Co after only one year, having joined from Weightmans in 2015.
