Dentons names new global CFO

Dentons has appointed Neal Livingston, former managing director and general manager of global trade and transactions at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, as its global chief financial officer.

During the last 10 years, Mr Livingston had similar assignments with the Royal Bank of Scotland Group and Standard Chartered Bank, where his responsibilities included implementing major strategic investments and new operating platforms, leading large teams and running global transaction services.

‘Valuable experience’

Mr Livingston has already taken up his role at the global law firm, based in its London office, and will oversee all aspects of the firm’s global strategic and operational finance functions. Elliott Portnoy, Dentons global CEO, commented that his experience in financial services ‘is especially valuable as Dentons expands beyond the traditional legal services model to offer a wide variety of business solutions.’
