DLA loses eight US real estate lawyers to Stroock

Three partners and five other lawyers are joining the Washington DC and New York offices of 300-lawyer firm Stroock & Stroock & Lavan.

Stroock has been on a recruiting spree this year, recruiting 23 lawyers to its five offices in the last six months. Jeffrey R Keitelman is joining as co-chair of the real estate practice and will take a seat on the firm's executive committee. The other partners are Kim Pagotto, joining in Washington DC alongside Mr Keitelman, and New York-based Marc Hurel. 

Complex cases
