DLA Piper has confirmed the hire of a six-partner real estate team from KWM. The team is headed by structured real estate heavyweight William Naunton, who will be joined by fellow partners Cornelius Medvei, Bryan Pickup, Ed Page, George Burrha and Jeremy Brooks. Upon joining DLA Piper, Mr Naunton will become co-head of the firm’s UK real estate group.

Meanwhile, a group of other KWM partners has packed its bags for Greenberg Traurig. The US-based firm announced the hire of tax partner Clive Jones late last week, together with private equity funds partners Steven Cowins and Marc Snell, M&A partners Michael Goldberg and David Fitzgerald, and partner Matthew Priday, as well as the partners’ teams. Mr Jones joined KWM from Eversheds in 2014, alongside Mr Naunton and Mr Medvei.
