Europe moves closer to shared drone rules

The European Commission is on course to issue an 'aviation package' proposal for new laws this November, following the start of a consultation which will feed in from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

EASA has just issued a consultation to develop ‘a regulatory framework for drone operations as well as concrete proposals for the regulation of low-risk drone operations’. The consultation concludes on 25 September.
