EY to open UK eDiscovery centre

EY, the accountancy giant which is increasingly spreading into legal services, is planning to unveil its planned Forensic Technology Services practice in Manchester this autumn, and to recruit 50 professionals over the next two years to staff it.

The unit will focus particularly on eDiscovery and will also support the organisation’s fraud investigation and dispute services team. Chris Marks, head of the unit, said: ‘Aside from traditional data collection, predominately from laptops and computers, we are seeing significant growth in demand for data collection from mobile phones, tablets and social media. This new facility will enable us to effectively service the changing needs of our regional and UK clients, as well as plan for and develop new eDiscovery solutions in response to evolving technology.’ Source: Bdaily Business News
