Historic attitudes favouring globalisation are fundamentally changing....
The world’s first private social network for lawyers has launched in Palo Alto, Foxwordy, which promises full anonymity for its membership, is a platform allowing lawyers to network , collaborate and engage with each other. Foxwordy's invitation-only model brings together relevant top-tier colleagues across the legal market to collaborate in real-time, allowing them to crowdsource clauses, advice and referrals, via a private social-networking platform. The site allows legal professionals to expand their relevant network by building relationships with fellow lawyers that lead to a variety of new business and career opportunities.

Foxwordy was founded by lawyer Monica Zent who also founded ZentLaw in 2002, one of the NewLaw firms based in Silicon Valley. Ms Zent said of the launch: ‘ Foxwordy is pioneering the trend of anonymous social networking with our highly sophisticated anonymity feature that liberates lawyers to finally have 'off-the-record' conversations with their colleagues. This introduces a new era of social networking for professionals everywhere.’ She added that ‘From inception, Foxwordy has been designed to offer the best social media experience customized for lawyers who require the highest level of privacy and discretion. Making our full anonymity features now available to all of our members further enhances the Foxwordy experience.’
