In its announcement of the move, Greenberg highlights the property law side of their combination, saying that it 'combines one of the leading German real estate groups with one of the top real estate practices in the United States'.

Richard A Rosenbaum, chief executive ofifcer of Greenberg, suggested that the firm had been waiting for a good opportunity in the area for a long time. He said: 'As we always do, we waited patiently for years to find the right time, the right place, and especially the right people, and we could not be more pleased with this opportunity.'
