A group of thirty lawyers from the dissolved firm Heenan Blaikie are set to join BCF, the Montreal-based law firm.

BCF has nearly 200 lawyers and specialises in corporate work. When Heenan Blaikie partners decided last week to close the firm, there were about 540 lawyers on its payroll. A group of 60 looked into joining DLA Piper in Toronto but negotiations were not productive. Source: The Globe and Mail
