Indian IP law firms plan April merger

The boutique intellectual property practice Lall & Sethi is to merge with Singh & Singh, a husband-and-wife law firm, on 1 April.

Two Indian IP firms are to merge NOWAK LUKASZ

The new firm, Singh & Singh Lall & Sethi, will have a total of nine partners and twenty-seven lawyers. Singh & Singh was formed by Pratibha Singh and her husband Maninder in 1997. The firm describes itself as 'one of India’s leading law firms in the field of Intellectual Property litigation, Information Technology and related aspects, as also technology, media and telecommunication laws'.

Sri Lanka office

Lall & Sethi is based in New Delhi and has branches in Sri Lanka and Nepal and describes itself as an ' IP boutique specializing in providing a complete range of services relating to contentious & non-contentious IP issues under one roof'. Source: Bar and Bench
