Historic attitudes favouring globalisation are fundamentally changing....
Both are US-qualified. Tom O'Neill was most recently a partner in Linklaters. Markus Bauman moves over from Latham & Watkins where he was a counsel. According to the firm, the two will develop the practice ' as the firm further expands its international corporate offerings'.
International experience
King & Spalding says that the two lawyers 'have extensive international experience representing investment banks, public companies, financial sponsors, investors and other market participants in a variety of industries on public and private cross-border transactions'. The recruitment of the pair means that the practice has added four partners in London within a matter of six weeks. It also promoted Ruth Byrne, an arbitrator, and appointed Elizabath Baltay, formerly a restructuring and finance partner at Bingham McCutchen. Source: King & Spalding
