Law firm sues Las Vegas casino over $3.4m spent by ex-managing partner

Property boutique Morris Schneider Wittstadt is suing the Cosmopolitan casino hotel for return of the funds which ex-managing partner Nathan Hardwick IV paid to it but which, says the firm, the casino should not have accepted.

A law firm is suing the Cosmopolitan Casino over money paid to it by the managing partner Kobby Dagan

In the complaint, the Georgia-based firm says: 'All of the wire transfers from the firm’s accounts to the Cosmopolitan contained information that put the Cosmopolitan on notice of the improper nature of the wire transfers and the fact that the Cosmopolitan was not entitled to accept or retain the transferred funds.'

Alleged misappropriation

Mr Hardwick was invited to open an account with Cosmopolitan in 2012, says the firm. The firm alleges that the money was misappropriated and that the casino hotel is not entitled to keep it. Source: ABA
