Lawyers rank with shop workers as unhappiest UK employees

While over half of British workers feel underpaid and unhappy, that proportion rises to two in three for two categories - shop workers and lawyers.

The research revealed that 66 per cent of shopworkers and lawyers are unhappy with their lot. The dissatisfaction rating among lawyers is seen as something of a surprise given that some 60 per cent of them expect to win a large pay rise in 2015. Next in the unhappiness ratings are accountants and financiers who, like lawyers, are paid well above the national average wage. The research also found that only three percent of people are happy with their pay level. It was conducted among 1,000 people by the search site Aduna. Source: Metro
