Historic attitudes favouring globalisation are fundamentally changing....
It told the Law Society of Upper Canada that it is freezing premiums in 2014, although some changes - including the cybercrime cap - are being introduced. Susan McGrath, chair of LawPRO, said, according to The Law Times: 'There will be $250,000 in coverage under the policy, a limited amount that provides some protection but will need to be supplemented by a vigorous risk management program on the part of law firms.' She went on to add: '.. it can be expected that lawyers and law firms represent appealing targets to cyber criminals.'
