Legal profession moves en masse into app design

Large and small law firms are working on their own client technology innovations, including the creation of apps, according to Lawyers Weekly in Australia.

Text messages must begin with the word 'advertisement' and include a statement of the lawyer's qualifications

Fixed fee services are a common innovation, one that is delivered by technology in many cases; also common are IT arrangements that enable staff to work flexibly. LegalVision, for instance, is an online law firm that offers fixed fee services to start-ups and SMEs. Included in this is the provision of certain free documents online. Part-time working is an area that LegalVision has been able to deal with fairly easily, partly because the online client arrangements make it easy for staff to work online as well.
