The pre-pack administration deal, which came into effect from the close of business on Friday, comes two years after Linder Myers narrowly avoided collapse through a debt restructure. The Manchester firm is understood to employ around 200 staff, including 66 solicitors, across four offices in Manchester, Lytham, Chester and Shrewsbury, and will now trade as ‘Linder Myers, as part of Metamorph Law Limited.’

ABS license

Founded by commercial solicitor-turned-entrepreneur Simon Goldhill, Metamorph Law announced a strategic plan to acquire at least 60 UK-based law firms over the next five years after being granted an ABS license by the Solicitors Regulation Authority on 14 April. ‘This merger gives us the base on which we can now anchor our operations and seek to build with subsequent acquisitions nationwide,’ said Mr Goldhill of the flagship deal.
