Listed law firm sees 11pc hike in revenue

Gateley, which floated on the London AIM market in June, has just announced that its turnover rose 10.9 per cent in the six months to the end of October.

Turnover went up to £29.6 million, while profit before tax went up by 11.5 per cent to £2.9 million. The business announced its first dividend of 1.895 pence per share. 

Differentiation

Chief executive Mark Ward commented: 'These results represent a very solid start to our life as a Plc [public limited company] and I believe will serve to further raise our profile, differentiate us from our direct competitors and attract quality staff.' Source: Legal Business
