San Francisco: mojo rising
Mr Nashelsky will succeed Keith Wetmore as the firm’s chairman when the latter completes his fourth three-year term in October.
Triple income
Mr Nashelsky joined the 1,000-lawyer global practice in 1999 and is currently a member of MoFo’s executive committee, previously serving as firm-wide managing partner. He was also named as one of the National Law Journal’s ’40 under 40’ in 2005.
Mr Wetmore – who has seen MoFo more than double is revenue and triple its net income under his reign – told The Recorder newspaper: ‘I could not be happier to hand the reins to Larren. I’m sleeping very well at night knowing that he'll be succeeding me. He is the consummate team player, and a very successful one.’
Mr Nashelsky said: ‘From my perspective, Keith did a fabulous job, and he's leaving the firm in great shape. What I would like to do is continue to build on that success.’
