The platform is initially dedicated to the drafting of tax clauses of real estate transfers with respect to VAT and transfer duties. The digital platform is offered an easy to use and intuitive tool allowing notaries to benefit from the expertise of the lawyers of CMS Francis Lefebvre Avocats, giving assurance of the relevance and reliability of all tax clauses.
The algorithm used to build iiara gives CMS real estate tax lawyers at the firm the possibility to handle large volumes of real estate transactions and provide notaries with the appropriate tax clause for each transaction, within a short time and for a reduced fixed cost. Notaries thus obtain, via iiara, a secured tax clause guaranteed by the expertise of specialists. The platform forms part of an innovation diversification strategy by CMS Francis Lefebvre Avocats. The iiara platform has been created, tested and enhanced in close collaboration with clients of the firm, including the notary firm Etude Cheuvreux et Associes. Its launch is seen as just the beginning, and the platform is designed to evolve over time and continually adapt to the new expectations of its users.
Elisabeth Ashworth, Gaëtan Berger-Picq and Patrick Danis, lawyers involved in developing the platform, said ‘we are very proud of the realization of this first platform which illustrates the constant dynamism of the firm and the innovative spirit which is the DNA of CMS Francis Lefebvre Avocats.’ Pierre-Sébastien Thill, Chairman of the Executive Board of CMS Francis Lefebvre Avocats, added ‘this is an excellent initiative that contributes to the firm's reputation in the field of innovative legal services.’ The iiara platform was developed with the agency Hercule, which specialises in Legal Tech.
