Norton Rose Fulbright launches new office in Papua New Guinea

The firm's Asia Pacific expansion is ploughing ahead.

Located in Port Moresby, the new office will advise client on deals and disputes relating to energy, mining, infrastructure and telecommunications. It will also advice local government on the development of legislation, as well as on power, ports, roads, oil and gas and financial services. Norton Rose Fulbright has hired former Kumul Minerals general counsel Karol Lelai to spearhead the new office as the firm’s local principal for Papua New Guinea. She will collaborate closely with leaders in the firm’s offices in Australia, China, Hing Kong, Japan, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia.
