Orrick recruits Watson Farley private equity partner

Orrick is continuing its focus on private equity for the energy and infrastructure market with the hire of Paul Doris from Watson Farley.

Mr Doris brings a strong focus on M&A and private equity, particularly in the energy and infrastructure sectors. Cross-border transactions

Mr Doris advises on domestic and cross-border transactions, with a focus on wind and solar portfolios. He has experience across Europe, particularly in Spain, as well as in Latin America, India, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. He has acted for the Riverside Company, Vortex (the European renewables platform managed by the private equity arm of EFG Hermes), Solar 21, Macquarie Capital, First State Investments, Vattenfall, Yushan Energy, Diverxia Infraestructuras, PGGM and BTG Pactual, among others.'Growing our global M&A and PE platform in a way that is aligned with our focus on the energy & infrastructure, finance and tech sectors is a strategic priority.
