Patton Boggs founding partner dies

Patton Boggs senior partner Thomas Boggs has died at his home in Washington.

The high profile lobbyist was chairman emeritus of Squire Patton Boggs.Before joining Patton Boggs in 1966, he worked in the executive office of President Lyndon Johnson. He was most recently involved in a controversial case against Chevron dealing with oil pollution in Equador which saw the firm settle with the oil company and pay $15 million in compensation.
