Profits per partner went up faster than the rise in income, going up 8.5% to hit the sum of $2.36m per head. The firm now has 873 lawyers including 276 partners.

Chair Seth Zachary said that strong growth was particularly due to work done in Latin America, IP, leveraged finance, white collar crime and securities and capital markets. He said: 'It’s gratifying to have a year where the broad progress in our practices is reflected in record financial results.' The firm has offices in the US, Europe and the Far East.
