Pay of top earner at Macfarlanes jumps 33pc to £2.4m

Macfarlanes is one of the most successful UK-based international firms and saw its turnover rise 17 per cent in the year ending 30 April 2015, to £156.5 million.

The firm unveiled strong financial results for 2014/15, with double-digit growth in both revenue and profits for the second year running. Equity partners at Macfarlanes earn more profit per head - £1.55m - than at any of the four Magic Circle firms and has been bettered only by Slaughter and May.
