Property team of nine moves from Eversheds to KWM in London

The two property partners, six associates and a technology specialist make the journey in the steps of three former Eversheds partners from the structured real estate group who also made the same transition in January.

Three of the new group are to become partners in King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) - Simon Burson and Jeremy Brooks (both partners in Eversheds) and George Burrha (who was a senior associate at Eversheds).

The KWM strategy on property is to focus on structured, high-end real estate. This was the reason that KWM recruited the previous three partners from the Eversheds fold - William Naunton (former Eversheds head of international real estate), Clive Jones and Cornelius Medvei. The three had planned, and announced, the formation of a boutique practice but were subsequently persuaded to join KWM. Source: Legal Business
