Steve Bannon, the former White House chief strategist, has hired a Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan partner to represent him for his appearance before the House Intelligence Committee as part of its investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election. Bill Burck is co-managing partner of the Washington DC office and co-chair of the firm’s investigations, government enforcement and white collar criminal defense practice.  He will only handle questions related to Bannon's time managing the Republican’s 2016 campaign, according to Politico. Mr Burck is also representing White House counsel Don McGahn and former White House chief of staff Reince Priebus to represent them in the Mueller investigation.
