Historic attitudes favouring globalisation are fundamentally changing....
Douglas Wood and co-editor Ross Kelley led a team of 22 at Reed Smith in the production of the paper, ‘Crowded Skies: Opportunities and Challenges in an Era of Drones’. Describing 3D printers and drones as ‘game changers, he adds: ‘While the 3-D printers are still a novelty item for most, the commercial and private applications of drones was spellbinding.’

He went on to say that ‘drones pose serious legal issues as well, many of which have been overlooked or ignored at the operator’s peril’. Creating a regulatory environment which will allow the commercial opportunities to develop is a central theme of Robotics Law Journal, a new title which is launched later this week.
