Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton has announced that it is now a sponsor of LA Galaxy OC Women’s Soccer Team, the United Women’s Soccer team in Orange County, CA.

"Money where its mouth is"

The firm joins other sponsors, including Adidas, Proactive, Kings Pro, Safeguard and Soccer Today. LA Galaxy Orange County is the official Alliance Club of MLS’s most successful franchise, the LA Galaxy, and is based in Irvine, California. “At Sheppard Mullin, we are focused on ensuring that our women attorneys grow and flourish. Becoming a sponsor of LA Galaxy OC Women’s Soccer Team is a great - and visible - way for us to ‘put our money where our mouth is’ and support young women,” said Robert Beall, one of the firm’s managing partners. “Sponsoring the LA Galaxy OC Women’s Soccer Team allows us to combine our commitment to empowering women through sports and our commitment to our local community into one outstanding opportunity.”

Stellar sponsors

Callum Salter, UWS Women's Team Project Manager, added, “We can’t thank Sheppard Mullin enough for joining our stellar list of sponsors. Every year, more than 3,000 kids in Orange County come to us to improve their soccer skills and learn the importance of how sportsmanship and teamwork will help them succeed on and off the field. Our sponsors enable us to effectively support all of our young female athletes, making the great sport accessible to anyone who wants to play.” LA Galaxy OC Women’s Soccer Team nurtures and supports high level, home-grown, female athletes. The vision for the team is to create a successful, highly competitive group in a community-based, family-friendly venue in Orange County.
