Historic attitudes favouring globalisation are fundamentally changing....
Voice recognition will make a dramatic difference to the daily life of lawyers, according to Tim Tuttle, CEO of the San Francisco-based company. Voice recognition 'will be everywhere' within a year, he said. This will then develop into many different applications - including smart walls in meeting rooms which can instantly research questions that are asked of them. As lawyers talk into their mobiles, laptops and other devices, there will be less need for traditional desks.

Mr Tuttle gave an example of a meeting in which participants might talk to a smart wall: 'You can quickly say what’s the status of the ACME account and what are the updates in Q2? And you’ll get an answer.' Google and Samsung are among the companies which have invested in Expect Labs. Source: Bloomberg
