Tech company sets up DIY law service for SMEs

LawPath, an Australian business, has set up a database of 200 legal documents in a relationship with LexisNexis which allows users to download and customise the texts.

Some 600 law firms are already working with LawPath which also enables lawyers to give advice on more complicated issues. Legal product manager Dominic Woolrych said, speaking of lawyers: 'Legal is an incredibly saturated industry, and to be competitive it’s essential to embrace online mediums.  The problem for lawyers, however, is resources with many firms not in a position to pursue digital marketing channels or bring on help managing these mediums.' Source: Australasian Lawyer
