Three Saudi lawyers jailed over Twitter comments

Three lawyers have been sentenced to between five and eight years in jail after criticising the Saudi justice system on Twitter.

The lawyers are thought to have tweeted about courts making errors of justice by convicting innocent people and releasing some who were corrupt. The Saudi Press Agency said that the lawyers were convicted of slandering the judicial system and disobeying the ruler.
