Turkish Airlines appoints Eversheds Sutherland as sole provider

The law firm will use its network to provide global legal services for the airline which has introduced efficiencies across the business.

The airline, which previously used a range of 120 law firms, has entered into the partnership for an initial three-year period with Eversheds managing all of the airline’s day-to-day legal needs across its flight network of 116 countries. Stephen Hopkins, head of global client development, will lead a team of lawyers across the world working together and accessing an extensive network of relationship firms. The move by the airline is to achieve cost certainty, greater transparency, consistent billing practices and performance measurement which it sees as leading to increased operational efficiency.
