UK turnover falls 10pc at Edwards Wildman

The London office of Edwards Wildman has produced disappointing results with turnover and profits down.

Turnover in the UK arm of US firm Edwards Wildman has fallen 10 per cent to £25.1m while profits available for distribution have gone down by 21 per cent to £7.6m.The accounts relate to the year ended 31 December 2013. The firm has seen five of its partners leave its corporate team this summer - and fellow US firm Cooley was rumoured to be negotiating with some of its partners as part of a plan to set up a London office this autumn.
