US entertainment lawyers open doors in Derry
SmithDehn has hired its first team of recruits who will be working for Hollywood film studios and US television companies.
HBO is receiving legal advice from offices in Derry Twin Design
The firm has joined forces with the University of Ulster to produce a course in the business and law of film and television - with visiting professors including the Chief Counsel of HBO and the Head of Legal for Channel 4. It has recruited its first batch of legal experts from this group of students. The firm's clients include Paramount Pictures, Lionsgate Films, Sony Pictures, HBO and BBC America.
