Jim Wu, a former Yahoo! Asia Pacific general counsel, will join global law firm K&L Gates LLP.  He will serve as a corporate partner in its Taipei and Palo Alto offices.

Linkedin general counsel, Erika Rottenberg, is due to step down in August afer being in the role for 6 years. On Rottenberg's departure, LinkedIn chief executive Jeff Weiner said: 'Our company feels tremendous gratitude to her for her fantastic insights and smart counsel. eBay’s associate general counsel, Stevan Liew, has left the company to set up his own firm in Singapore. Liew left the Singapore base, where he was GC for eight years, to set up his own law firm specialising in problem solving for technology companies. Tiffany & Co general counsel for the past 29 years Patrick Dorsey will retire from the company on 22 May. Leigh M. Harlan will take over.
