Jim Wu, a former Yahoo! Asia Pacific general counsel, will join global law firm K&L Gates LLP.  He will serve as a corporate partner in its Taipei and Palo Alto offices.

Linkedin general counsel, Erika Rottenberg, is due to step down in August afer being in the role for 6 years. On Rottenberg's departure, LinkedIn chief executive Jeff Weiner said: 'Our company feels tremendous gratitude to her for her fantastic insights and smart counsel. We wish her the very best as she pursues her 'next play'.' Source: Legal Business

eBay’s associate general counsel, Stevan Liew, has left the company to set up his own firm in Singapore. Liew left the Singapore base, where he was GC for eight years, to set up his own law firm specialising in problem solving for technology companies. His new firm will run under the name Steven Liew & Associates. Source: The Lawyer

Kelly Mahon Tullier has been announced as Visa Inc deputy general counsel. Ms. Tullier, current deputy general counsel at PepsiCo Inc., will join visa in October this year. Source: Market Watch

Tiffany & Co general counsel for the past 29 years Patrick Dorsey will retire from the company on 22 May. Leigh M. Harlan will take over. Ms. Harlan came to Tiffany in 2012 from Cravath, Swaine & Moore, a prominent New York City law firm, where she practiced corporate, transactional and finance law. Source: Market Watch

Patterson Co. promoted its associate GC following the retirement general counsel, Matthew Levitt who held the position for 25 years. Jonelle Burnham will move up to take the position in the company at the end of April. Source: Corporate Counsel
