Corporate counsel at The Future of Law Summit were scathing about law firm attitudes to fees and communications. Lloyds Bank's Lesley Wan said law firms should ask when they were unclear on instructions instead of just assuming, whilst client pricing adviser Richard Burcher said that legal departments tended to prefer transparency and choice over a fixed offer.
