CLOC launches European institute

The Corporate Legal Operations Consortium is launching the first institute in Europe as more companies appoint legal operators.

With more companies than ever appointing legal operators, CLOC is launching its first major event outside the US. The organisation, which brings together corporate legal professionals focused on the delivery of legal services, is meeting its European colleagues to discuss the latest technology and business initiatives in the legal marketplace as well as issues impacting corporate counsel. Legal operators from companies such as NetApp, VMware, Oracle, Google  and Facebook will collaborate with their European counterparts including organisations such as Royal Mail, Smiths Group, BT and Vodafone. 

Operational excellence

Google's Mary O'Carroll and Julian Tsisin wil talk about machine learning whilst VM Ware Chief of Staff Aine Lyons and Jupiter's Hans Albers  discuss operational excellence and how to achieve it. Steve Roberts of BT, Alessandro Galtieri of Colt and consultant Shiela Fitzpatrick are focusing on the world of privacy and data protection post GDPR.
