BTI Brand Elite 2019 includes brand scores and individual profiles—including quotes directly from clients—on how the 28 brand leaders are making a name for themselves with corporate counsel. Corporate counsel rank Skadden as the No. 1 firm to turn to in bet-the-company situations, according to the report “BTI Brand Elite 2019: Client Perceptions of the Best-Branded Law Firms.” The ranking is based on more than 694 interviews with top legal decision-makers at the world’s largest organizations to single out the law firms with the best and strongest brands based on client experience, premium work and innovation

Top ten

After Skadden, the next of the top five are Jones Day, Latham & Watkins and Morgan Lewis with fifth place taken by Gibson Dunn. The remaining top places went to Kirkland & Ellis, Reed Smith, Hogan Lovells, Sidley and at number ten Dentons. Baker McKenzie was just outside the top ten, placed eleventh.
