With the luxury marketplace in a state of flux, some of the luxury world's top gamechangers will join some of the top luxury legal departments to share their insights at a unique gathering in London next week to discuss the business of luxury and law. Fashion e-commerce entrepreneur and gamechanger Chris Morton will discuss how the world of data opens up unprecedented opportunities for luxury. Mr Morton, previously an investor at top European venture funds, Balderton Capital and Benchmark Capital, is the founder of Lyst, a fashion aggregation and discovery app and universal checkout cart which allows shoppers to 'list' the items they are looking for, partners with retailers and brands to give consumers a personalised product and sells information on consumer behaviour back to its brand and retail partners. 

Dealmakers

The ultimate dealmaker, Robert Ferrell, will share key insights into the global fashion industry, having represented some of fashions leading models over the past 20 years from Kate Moss to as Charlotte Gainsbourg, Riley Keogh, Catherine Denevue and Chiara Mastroianni. He has also secured some of the world's biggest and most prestigious deals with luxury brands.

Meanwhile Hermes general counsel Annick de Chaunac will discuss how the legal department protects and supports growth at luxury whilst Michael Kors general counsel Lee Sporn will speak on the difficulties of dealing with e-commerce sites such as Alibaba. Corporate counsel from Fendi, Furla, Charlotte Olympia and Abercrombie & Kent will also discuss market challenges and opportunities.
